Warriors in Need

The number of women who serve in our country's military grows each year. Like all veterans, these women struggle to transition back into civilian life. However, they also face unique challenges — like an increased incidence of sexual assault and a society that, in many cases, still views the phrase "woman veteran" as an oxymoron. We think they deserve better. Mission Transition — presented by the Blue Angels Foundation on behalf of Pathways for Change — will raise funds for the Clinton Cox Residence.

The residence is a faith-based therapeutic community that assists female veterans struggling with Post Traumatic Stress (PTS), Military Sexual Trauma (MST), Substance Use and Trauma that occurred prior, during and after military service. The women who live at this facility have all the luxuries of a home, including their own bathroom, a fully operational kitchen, a common dining room, day room/media room, and laundry area. The residence also features two computers used for education, job search and personal business.
